I live in Cambridge, New York. I want to tell you some things about Albany, New York. The most beautiful part of New York to me is the Hudson River. The Hudson River has many beautiful sights like the seven lighthouses. The lighthouses remind visitors of the important role the river has played as a commercial waterway following the opening of the Erie Canal.

I remember as a young child that my best friend and I went with her family to a beautiful mansion. We used to have breakfast on special occasions there. We would play outside and look at the river with the boats and ferries going by.

Now that I am older, I have taken my children and some of my friends to a nice spot along the Hudson River to have picnics. The children are enjoying it just as much as I did when I was a child.
